ORGANISED BY: Max Rubner-Institut Kiel

Discover the secrets of milk! Come explore the magical world of dairy products with us! In our interactive lecture for children ages 8–11, “Milk Transforms,” you’ll learn how milk turns into cheese, yogurt, and other delicious products. You’ll find out what it feels like when liquid milk turns solid, and why cheese is much more stable than yogurt or butter. Become a milk expert!
  • Explore the secrets of milk production
  • Learn how different dairy products are made
  • Discover why cheese, yogurt, and butter are so different
  • Together with the other children, you’ll get to work your magic with milk.
Please note that we’ll be working with food, so your clothes might get dirty. The lecture will take place in the MRI lecture hall. A waiting area is available for parents; you also have the option of going into town during this time, which is within walking distance. The presentation will be made available for parents to download after the lecture.

The event is free, but the number of participating children is limited, so a ticket is required.
