“Jugend forscht – We Foster Talent” is Germany’s best-known young researchers’ competition, promoting outstanding achievements and aptitudes in the natural sciences, mathematics and technology. Young researchers up to the age of 21 take part in the contest.

Following the national final in May, the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) will take place in Kiel in September.
