Marjan is a park forest in Split, within whose boundaries are located two scientific institutes (IOR and MEDILS UNIST) and a botanical garden. The idea is to organize a science fair in the week leading up to Marjan Day, which is in May. The fair will showcase the scientific capacity of this area in one place. Other scientific institutions are also welcome to present their research. The aim is to bring research closer to children and the general public through engaging experiments, games, quizzes, and cleaning actions. This event would enrich the social activities taking place in Split during the first half of May when the city also celebrates its patron saint, St. Duje.
