Marine Transdisciplinarity Conference

The aim of the scientific conference is to present and reflect on transdisciplinary research activities, theories and results in marine research. Special emphasis will be placed on the three research missions of the German Marine Research Alliance (DAM). An overview of the methods used to date and currently in use will be compiled, a common understanding of the terms will be developed and the research approaches and results to date will be discussed and evaluated together with the stakeholders. The conference aims to promote the mutual exchange of experiences and findings (learning from each other), to develop ideas for improving research approaches (planning together) and to increase the effectiveness of transdisciplinary approaches with regard to a transformation towards sustainability (achieving impact together).
