Starting May 8, 2026, ancient vases, heroines, and gods from classical mythology will encounter the magnificent furnishings of Eutin Castle in its halls and galleries. With more than 40 exhibits from the Kiel Collection of Classical Antiquities, the exhibition unfolds an impressive interplay of forms and invites visitors to experience the hidden mythological stories that have always been concealed within the castle.

Those who want to learn more can embark on an exciting journey of discovery, tracing images and motifs from antiquity that have been reinterpreted time and again in different eras and continue to shape thought and culture to this day.

The exhibition project is a collaboration between the Eutin Castle Foundation and the Kiel Collection of Classical Antiquities. A program of lectures, guided tours, and creative workshops accompanies the exhibition.
