Designers create the things we interact with every day: Chairs, bicycles, kitchen appliances, apps, administrative interfaces or medical products. It's not just about form or aesthetics. Industrial design structures functions, processes, meanings - and therefore also behavior. Every designed object contains assumptions about how people act, what they should be able to do and how society is organized.
The lecture shows how design enables us to shape the future of everyday life.
The event is organized by Science Summer and part of Science Comes to Town
