Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. More than 40% of new cancer cases can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle. The project “Mit Köpfchen gegen Krebs – Be smart against cancer” provides students with knowledge about cancer and individual cancer prevention—in an age-appropriate, interactive, and media-based format. The project is guided by an interactive educational film that pauses periodically so that participants can conduct short experiments together on topics such as not smoking, sugar in beverages, and physical activity. Afterward, students have the opportunity to visit the traveling exhibition on cancer prevention, which is visiting CITTI-PARK that day. Target audience: 7th, 8th, and 9th grades Go to event website
